In preparation for the upcoming Road Map for the Food Economy convening and the release of its new economic study on local food, the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition is proud to launch the "Fresh Ideas In Action" Snapshot Series. Now live on YouTube, the series highlights important issues, succesful projects and inspiring entrepreneurs within West Virginia's local food system. Each 6-minute audio-visual "snapshot" is a unique story, told by the people who've lived it, about a model or idea that is successfully getting more local food from producer to consumer, or promises to do so. The series currently includes seven "snapshots," but is expected to grow.

The series was produced by the Coalition with funding from the West Virginia Office of Healthy Lifestyles and support from the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation. Audio for the series was expertly edited by Catherine Moore of Beauty Mountain Studios.
