The West Virginia Community Development Hub and West Virginia Grantmakers are working together to identify the needs of local nonprofits and to develop a framework for an association that will address those needs.
To date we’ve held seven town hall meetings around the state, hosted teleconferences with funding organizations and rural nonprofit reps, and interviewed staff at more than twenty regional and statewide nonprofit associations.
Now it’s time to narrow the focus, determine program and service priorities, and develop the implementation plan.
